Some Estimates for a Weighted L2 Projection
This paper is devoted to the error estimates for some weighted L projections. Nearly optimal estimates are obtained. These estimates can be applied to the analysis of the usual multigrid method, multilevel preconditioner and domain decomposition method for solving elliptic boundary problems whose coefficients have large jump discontinuities.
متن کاملSome Sharp Weighted Estimates for Multilinear Operators
In[6], Hu and Yang obtain a variant sharp estimate for the multilinear singular integral operators. The main purpose of this paper is to prove a sharp inequality for some multilinear operators related to certain non-convolution type integral operators. In fact, we shall establish the sharp inequality for the multilinear operators only under certain conditions on the size of the integral operato...
متن کاملOn Some Estimates for Projection Operator in Banach Space
Previously unknown estimates of uniform continuity of projection operators in Banach space have been obtained. They can be used in the investigations of approximation methods, in particular, the method of quasisolutions, methods of regularization and penalty functions, for solving nonlinear problems on exact and peturbed sets (see [1, 2]).
متن کاملA Library for Locally Weighted Projection Regression
In this paper we introduce an improved implementation of locally weighted projection regression (LWPR), a supervised learning algorithm that is capable of handling high-dimensional input data. As the key features, our code supports multi-threading, is available for multiple platforms, and provides wrappers for several programming languages.
متن کاملFormant weighted cepstral feature for LSP-based speech recognition
In this paper, we propose a formant weighted cepstral feature for LSP-based speech recognition system. The proposed weighting scheme is based on the well-known property of LSPs that the speech spectrum has a peak when adjacent LSFs come close. By applying this scheme to pseudo-cepstrum (PCEP) conversion process [1], we can obtain formant weighted or peak enhanced cepstral feature. Results of sp...
